Death penalty on gays

The Uganda legislature is working on a new bill on the same gender romance. According to the new bill, anyone convicted on gay offenses will get a death sentence and a minimum of life imprisonment.

Anyone who is aware of gay activists and does not report it to the authorities may face up to 3 years imprisonment

Humanitarian activists and gay societies in the country have criticized the bill as it goes against human rights and strengthens the spread of HIV/ AIDS
