Mustafa Hassanali launches Afrilaal Collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week – Africa
Pan African designer, Mustafa Hassanali yesterday launched his latest collection named Afrilaal at MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK – AFRICA in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Among the models who ripped the run way, were New York based Tanzanian Model Flaviana Matata, MNET face of Africa 2008 winner Kate Mensah from Ghana and Sweden based Tanzanian model Michelle Jeng.
Afrilaal collection will be used to advocate awareness of the reality of HIV/AIDS.
It is Mustafa Hassanali’s FIFTH collection in year 2012, and his NINTH show in SOUTH AFRICA.
Mustafa Hassanali has launched Afrikalos collection in Lagos Nigeria, Wedding collection in Dar es Salaam, Ramadhan Collection in Dakar, Senegal and Pink Desert Collection in Gaborone, Botswana. And has shown at Fashion extravaganza in Kampala, Uganda and Bangalore fashion week in India in the year 2012.
