Rapper wa Uganda na member wa kundi la Klear Kut, Navio, amesema AY ndiye aliyewahamasisha rappers wengi wa Uganda kubadilisha aina nyimbo zao na kuweka ladha yenye biashara zaidi.
Anasema hicho ndicho kilichomfanya naye pia kutofanya hardcore rap peke yake.
“When I think about guys like AY for example, we always have our ciphers, do hardcore songs with Mwana FA. He was one of the first ones in the whole East African community of rappers to start getting smooth. He came and shot that video Yule, using his voice in different ways. I think that same way I always want to be versatile,” Navio ameiambia Bongo5.
Rapper huyo amesema akiwa na album 7 (3 na Klear Kuts) na tuzo 35 za hip hop, inambidi kufanya muziki wa aina nyingi ili asichuje.
Kwa sasa Navio anafanya vizuri na wimbo wa kitamaduni, Njogereza.
