New look, new line up- Touch HD officially ready to go live
The long awaited official launch of Touch HD was held this Friday night at an exclusive party, at Steyn City, Fourways. Touch HD is a pioneer of digital radio in Africa, which is accessible through mobile-phone, online live streaming, podcasting and Digital Audio Broadcasting.
The new Touch HD look and feel and re-vamped line-up, which included some exiting and surprising additions to the station was also revealed to guests and media in attendance. In what was the biggest entertainment news in the past week, it was announced that the legendary Glen Lewis was set to join Touch HD. Up until last night, details surrounding which slot the DJ would occupy was kept a surprise from the public. The Great One will be occupying the breakfast slot alongside comedian Nina Hastie.
Other major additions to the station include the likes of veteran radio broadcaster Tim Modise, who will be hosting The Modise Network, Khabonina Masuku also joins Touch HD hosting the Rush Hour with Kyle Worde. New shows have been introduced to the line-up, hosted by new and current talent, giving audiences a wide variety of options.
