Sean Kingston Keeping It Fresh In Dar es Salaam
Jamaican music sensation, Sean Kingston and Kilimanjaro Music Awards gave a press conference yesterday morning at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel.
George Kavishe who is the brand manager of Kilimanjaro Beer, opened the press conference and welcomed Sean Kingston and all attending journalists to the conference. He then introduced David Minja, who is the marketing director for TBC, which will be broadcasting the event live on TBC. This being Kingston’s first time in Africa he said he felt right at home, and how Tanzania reminded him of Jamaica.
“I am really happy to be here in the motherland, and really like Dar es Salaam. I am also honored by being one of the guest performers at the Awards show and promise a great performance.”
He also introduced his entourage he had arrived with called, Time Is Money, consisting of his DJ, Hype King, Ja1 (his backup artist), and other band members. Sean Kingston then gave a small performance for the press along with his backup artist, JA1, giving us a taste of what is to be expected at the awards.
