Kuhusu Otuck
To Otuck, life started alongside music. At a very tender age of 5, Otuck and his family was one of the most loved family trio in the church. That, together with involvement in all children programs in the church got him to join the main church choir when he was 10. This star continued to shine all the way through childhood, from leading the Pathfinder Club for 3 years in the church to being a school choir teacher when he was in secondary and high school.
He took every single opportunity to get deep into music even when it seems like not the “complete” opportunity, this was shown in 2003, when he started learning piano from the church choir teacher who really had no time and interest in teaching him. By 2006 he met the guitar, as always he didn’t give it up even when his “teacher” would tell him “No, stop doing this and go to
school”.
In 2008 he started learning music production with a friend Adam “CushManOx” Edward. It was at this point where he officially aligned his music to the secular scene. One year later he met a legendary hip hop producer in the country, Duke Tachez and get him a two year contract at the M-Lab records. Being a member of M-Lab’s producers and singers, Otuck grew his music up, and helped him to complete the Gospel-Secular transition.
Since 2009 to 2012, he was also at college so music had a very small chance at the moment, it was until he got a job as a clinical officer in Mbeya Tanzania (2013) where he could now look back to what has always been in his heart.
Studio life gave him a couple of records and gaining lots of fan online (with more than 800 hundred facebook fan page likes), among the records is the song titled Déjà Vu which is to be realized on 26th April 2014.
Otuck has a philosophy behind his life and so his music. It’s called “Lovology”. From his own explanation of Lovology, he states that “I believe that everything we see, feel, touch and do, everything about us exists because of LOVE. To me LOVE is this supernatural magnetic energy that holds everything together. And it is only when LOVE isnt recognized, understood and respected where things go wrong. Mankind needs to know what LOVE is through learning about LOVE so as to stay in the alignment with other elements of life and hence harmony — the reason why we need “Lovology””
Otuck has dedicated his music in telling people what LOVE is. Weather in music or medicine, he aimed to heal the world.
