Zain launch 1 Shs Tariff

Zain Tanzania on Tuesday night launched their 1 shilling tariff at an exclusive party that was codenamed “big bang” to a selected guest invitees and staff at their newly built headquarters in Dar es Salaam.

The party started at half past nine, saw Tanzania’s hip hop protégé Chidi Benz as the first curtain raise performing with his live band “La Familia”. He rocked the crowd with his Pom Poom Pisha, Dar es Salaam Stand Up and other hits along side Chiku Keto.

After Chidi it was the turn of another rising home grown R&B sensation, Belle 9 who set the crown ablaze with his favorite tracks Masogange, Sumu ya Penzi and we ni Wangu which had the crowd singing along with him all the way.

and finally the main act of the night took to the stage, straight from Nigeria J Martins entertained the crowd with his hit song Oyoyo and many more.

The launch which was telecasted live by ITV and EATV saw Zain Tanzania Marketing Manager Kelvin Twisa and Customer Care Manager Irene Madeje announcing that the one shilling tariff is officially on and the Zain subscribers will have the benefit of using the 1 shilling tarrif for 24 hours.

Clarifying on to the statement Kelvin Twisa assured their beloved corporate and non corporate clients and customers that the tariff is 1 shilling per second during the day and 1 shilling for the whole minute starting from 11 PM.

The managers urged Zain customer to be loyal to their company since there is a lot to come. They also took the same opportunity to wish fellow staff and invited guests to enjoy the show and Zain’s wonderful world.
