Bobi Wine aibukia Tanzania
Msanii wa muziki kutoka nchini Uganda, Bobi Wine ametuma salamu zake za rambi rambi kwa familia zilizopoteza ndugu na jamaa kwenye ajali ya MV Nyerere wiki iliyopita.
Bobi Wine akitoa salamu hizo za rambi rambi, kupitia kurasa zake za mitandao ya kijamii amesema kuwa amesikitishwa na ajali hiyo na kuwataka wadau na serikali kwa pamoja washirikiane katika kutokomeza ajali za majini kwani zinaepukika.
“This morning I just read that the death toll in the Nyerere MV ferry disaster on Lake Victoria in Tanzania has risen to 209. We continue to mourn with our Tanzanian brothers and sisters who lost countrymen and countrywomen in this tragedy of unimaginable proportions. I send sympathies to fellow leaders and artistes in Tanzania.
My prayers this morning are with every family which lost a loved one. May you find solace and peace in the Lord who promises never to leave us nor forsake us even in such trouble. As Psalm 46:1 assures us, “The Lord is our refuge and strength; an ever present help in trouble.”
This tragedy brings to mind the perils on our lakes and rivers- with many people senselessly losing lives daily. May we all reflect and work towards eradicating such carnage on our waters.
May the souls of the departed rest in peace.”
Ajali ya kivuko cha MV Nyerere imetokea Alhamisi Septemba 20, 2018 ya wiki iliyopita na mpaka sasa imeripotiwa watu 224 wamepoteza maisha kwenye ajali hiyo.
