Navy Kenzo take African music industry by storm, meet the most funky and stylish duo

The behind the scenes footage of their latest hit Kamatia, left me hooked on screen to watch the video. I did not stop there but also watched their previous and most watched video of their hit single, Game and then how they performed during their concerts.

You will agree with me that Navy Kenzo have the best music videos so far compared to other East African groups. First of all, Navy Kenzo knew that if their style will be accepted in their first hit then they will continue with their unique flow of music – funky, upbeat, danceable and catchy.

Apart from shooting their videos in South Africa as other Bongo artists do these days, they tend to display a certain funky style of doing their music. I am so in love with their fashion. This is where I see Nahreel puts up a pony tail; pulls up his socks and for Aika you can see her with colored hair and tight clothes to rock in their videos.

In every video, they display their fashion as a mixture of old school hip hop and urban look which does not disappoint.

This young crew has created a trend in the music industry and it has take East Africa by storm and the effect to upcoming artist is indispensable. I do not mean to throw shade at no one, but whenever I attend Navy Kenzo’s concert, I tend to enjoy way better than others.

Each and every concert I attend, they always bring something new on stage and if you have watched them perform Moyoni and Game, then you will know what I mean. How they keep up with the audience with their dancers, always keeps me long for more of their music and performances.

Navy Kenzo have begun this year with more fans looking up to them as they play their A- Game.

Their quality of music is indeed perfect and isn’t that what we want? It is an impressive work that these two have displayed so far and their artistic style of producing their music will continue to get thumbs up. Navy Kenzo keep giving us good music.
