Having been known more as a vocal coach and a music educator by the wide array of Kenyan music stars who have passed through her hands, Lydia Ndwiga went to the studio and prepared a masterpiece of a song in anticipation for the forthcoming Easter period.
In this song titled Kwake Ni Salama, Lydia teamed up with Music Producer/Director David Hunter, an alumnus of Berklee College of Music USA, who is currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.
The crisp visuals of Kwake ni Salama were shot in a studio setting to bring out the mellowness in the song. The song’s message, which is inspired by and is a cover of the well known Christian hymn In Christ Alone, is a reassurance that the song is going to be an all time favorite to a very many people for a long time.
