Tanzania is flying high

2009 has seen our country making
its mark in the world map in sports and entertainment. Hasheem Thabeet, Nizar Khalfan, Kally
Ongalla and Henry Joseph are among the few players who are spotlighting our
nation in Europe. Entertainers Ally Kiba and Pretty poet have been nominated in
the BEFFTA awards in Europe not to mention AY, Mwana FA, Shaa and Black Rhino
who are contesting in various categories in MTV and Channel O awards.

A few years ago, Tanzania was referred to around the World as "that country near Kenya". But thanks to efforts by our government and the outstanding perfromances by our fellow Tanzanians in various sectors our country is finally recognised on its own merits. So far so good, all we have to do is work harder in making our country a haven and enjoy the limelight we rightfully deserve. God bless Tanzania
