Teenagers getting high: In terms of immorality

If I was to point fingers concerning today’s topic, it would be the parents. No, its not an excuse so my comrades can join hands with me but let’s be honest?

Have you ever wondered why the rate of rebellious teens are increasing daily? It’s evident if its not drugs then its sexual immoralities right? Probably theft and running away from home.

Clearly their new poisons of choice, it turns out, are usage of drugs. Then blame the parent who say that my child is stubborn, he/she does not follow instructions, comes home late and all sort of exaggerations.

I am no moral police but during the adolescent stage,teenagers are to be guided and given space. For example, if you give an example that they should not go out, girls should not be in the company of boys and should be given reasons. I mean, if one is told not to be in the company of boys then they should clearly pin out that they can get pregnant at a young age.Vice versa, boys can involve themselves in drugs and down they go to rehab.

In general, the parents are not free with kids.There is lack of sharing their experiences and what the children are likely to engage in life.  As they get older, want to make more and more decisions for themselves and don’t want their parents always telling them what to do. 

They should have more control over their decision-making to the extent that parents trust them to make wise decisions. Teenagers who are getting high on misbehaving will not stop seeking comfort in many other places as long as they are always working.However, if they want them to settle, it is advisable to get them a mentor who will be suitable and free to share their problems with.
