Magdalena Roy is Miss Top Model 2012
Miss Dar-City Center first runner up, Magdalena Roy took home Redd’s Miss Tanzania Top Model 2012 title ahead of other 30 contestants at a gala which was held at Naura Spring as part of progression to Redd’s Miss Tanzania 2012 finals.
Miss Magdalena Roy has automatically qualified for the top 15 spot which gives her chance to progress to the top 5 in the national finals event that is expected to take place on the 3rd of November at Leaders Ground Dar-Es-Salaam.
According to Miss Tanzania Public Relations officer Haidan Ricco, competition to get the Top Model was as intense as each contestant tried to outdo each other, but it was Miss Magdalena who beat all the other contestants to take the crown.
Other contestants who managed to get into top five are Mary Chizi (Ilala), Irene Veda (Lindi), Belinda Mbogo (Dodoma), and Sina Revocatus (Higher Learning). Last week, in the run up to the final event, Miss Mbulu, Lucy Stephano won Miss Photogenic title.
