Redds Miss Tanzania contestants visit former PM, Edward Lowassa

Redds Miss Tanzania 2012 contestants yesterday paid a courtesy call to the former Prime Ministers Residence as they continue with their tourism study tour as they prepare for the final event which is scheduled to take place on 3rd November 2012.

The entourage which is still on official camp comprised of the all Redds Miss Tanzania national finalists, their matron and Miss Tanzania Committee was received by the former premier together with his wife Mama Regina Lowassa.

According to the details of the visit that was availed to our correspondent, Mr Lowassa, who also dubs as Member of Parliament for Monduli constituency, looked very jovial as he chats and share laughter in company of his wife gave the beauty queen a good piece of advice regarding to various social disciplines.

He urged the contestants to be patriotic and represent the country by being good role models in the society and emphasizes more on their good conduct (discipline), education and urged them not to be carried away with fame which they will attain as the pageant attracts a lot of media attention and censorship.

To wind up his advice to the beauty queens, the former Premier asked them not to forget God, as they should not seek devil interventions in searching for their endeavors, but rather bestow their faith in him, and the almighty will give them strength, determination and success which they will use to live decent life.

Miss Tanzania Chairman Hashim Lundenga thanked the Ex Premier for accepting to host the beauty queens and promise to work on all the good things that he advised together with his wife, Mama Regina.
