Staa wa filamu kutoka nchini Zambia, Cassie Kabwita Ijumaa hii amejikuta matatani baada ya kuswekwa rumande kwa saa 3 kwa kosa la kukutwa amevaa kofia ambayo inafanana na zile za jeshi la polisi.

Muigizaji huyo baada ya kukamatwa alikiri kosa na kuamriwa kulipa faini ya dola 500 sawa na zaidi ya tsh milioni 1 ya Tanzania.

OK SO I GOT ARRESTED LAST NIGHT FOR BREAKING THE LAW.
for the first time in my life since I was born, last night I got arrested in Tanzania by the police.

Apparently they found me on the wrong side of their law, I was detained for 3 hours and harassed like a hardcore criminal refusing to oblige by the law.
One of the policemen recognized me from the screen, I thought to myself “better”
Yaba he just made the situation worse than it was, the humiliation became filthy, Now they started trying to prove a point just like Zambian policemen ati tili na ma powers, celebrity or no celebrity boma ni boma, they claimed to be aiming at public figures to set them as examples for the public to learn from them. Damn I really danced to their off key tune tune for sure. #salute
CRIME COMMITTED: wearing a camouflage cap
CHARGE: $500 or go to court.
I guess I was charged accordingly for it Mmmmmm it was an experience and half for a person like me who hate police stations and courts but hey I was wrong and I don’t regret being corrected coz I know I was going to be corrected equally in zambia.
I tried to make them understand that in zambia camouflage in fashion , everyone is publicly wearing them and they baldly made me realize that the Zambian law and Tanzania law are not the same. Zambia may tolerate certain things but not Tanzania.
I thank God for the experience . I am very proud of Tanzania law. Tanzania doesn’t care who is who , if you are found on a wrong side trust me you will go down especially if you can’t even speak the almighty Swahili .
