It’s time to step up on youth and money

You will agree with me that today’s youth are expensive. They are expensive because everything they want costs money. I believe parents have a huge role to play when it comes to teenagers and saving. While growing up managing money for most most of us was a problem.

Every note we would receive all we  knew and thought was to spend on all kinds of pretty things.Today, most of us have a debit card but before i get to that, its fair to note that we are living in a generation that money is constantly needed. For parents when we were kids, banking our money is never worth it because the interest are rubbish when we reach 18 years. No offers are based on discounts and turn up to be of no value. As per my research 90% of parents with children do not have an account.

When it comes to money with young people, cash is king and mobile money is growing. Problem is majority of the youth do not know how to use their debit card. In-fact most have no idea that thing they call the ATM card is a Visa card can be used to procure services on the go. It is wise to do your communication with your banking company and get some knowledge. There is a bad narrative on insurance because the youth have an attitude of not trusting insurance companies and agents,have no money(so probably most insurance companies are expensive) and are not interested.I do not have all the answers but get your data is a great way to quit the mental block on money.
