Davido postpones ‘Baddest’ album release date again!
The award-winning Nigerian superstar and HKN Boss, Davido has once again postponed the official release of his much-anticipated album‘Baddest’ till later in September 2015.
This is the second time he fails to unveil the album after announcing dates.
The album was earlier scheduled to be released on June 8, 2015 but it was postponed till August 10, 2015 and once again it’s been moved.
In an email sent to news outlets in Nigeria from Davido’s media representatives, the album will be released in September, it reads;
“We are aware that many may have been expecting the album at an earlier date, though we were set to release the album this month, the date has been moved. We are currently placing the finishing touches on the album and we have some exciting news coming up that will greatly benefit the album project.”
The email further said,
“Davido fans have been so loyal and consistent throughout Davido’s career that he sincerely wants to deliver the best body of work so as to express his gratitude. We have been working non-stop to deliver an album of world-class standards; for this reason it is paramount to release a well-executed album, to the best of our ability.”
‘Baddest’, Davido’s sophomore album contains a number of stars guesting on it, including embattled US rapper, Meek Mill and R&B singer Trey Songz.
