Meneja wa Diamond amtetea kwa kuonesha boxer yake kwenye Fiesta
Uongozi mpya wa Diamond uliochini ya mpiga picha maarufu nchini wa I-View Media, Raqey Mohamed umeingia kwenye mtihani wa kwanza baada ya Diamond kujikuta kwenye kitimoto kutokana na kitendo chake cha kuonesha boxer kwenye stage ya Fiesta weekend iliyopita.
Kupitia Facebook, Raqey amesema Diamond alifanya hivyo kwa lengo la kukuza uelewa wa jambo ambalo hata hivyo hakusema ni lipi.
“From creative perspective what Diamond Platnumz did on Fiesta stage, i consider it as a way of creating awareness, i dont see anything wrong with that.. Im happy that what we propose to do is creating awareness which i can say 99% message received. Nobody is talking about Rick Ross after fiesta we all talk about Diamond Platnumz,” aliandika.
Hata hivyo kauli yake imepingwa vikali na watu akiowemo mmiliki wa website ya Bongo Celebrity, Jeff Msangi aliyehoji, “awareness” is a good thing especially in a show business.The question,however, is “awareness” for what? And then there is a question of; will this awareness generate sales?Or will it just generate(positive and probably massive negative attention) response in which case it can start to erode the positive attention that an artist already has.If ain’t broken,why try to fix it?
Mwingine alisema, “Raqey katika watu ninao waheshimu na kuwaaminia kwa kuwa creative wewe ni mmoja wao hapa TZ!..and you call that creativity?no way.samahani lakini nafikiri he is too good to do that,that’s for cheap musician who wants cheap publicity na Diamond ameondoka huko kitambo sana.”
Kujibu hoja hizo Raqey aliandika, “ Brothers and sisters!! I have a feeling we are not speaking the same language… Im glad that i have such respect my fellow tanzanians, appreciating your support towards what i do in film, music industry and advertising industry. But that was just a show, considered as entertainment. Doesnt mean if i have dreadlocks i smoke weed.. Or if a woman works at the bar or putting on a mini skirt is a prostitute.. If Diamond sang on stage and say FUCK ingekuwa issue ila rick ross did that. I appreciate your contribution being a fag is a mental act. Im still saying i didnt see a problem for Diamond pulling his trouser down. It was part of the show. Not invented at the stage.”
