VODACOM Miss Dar City Centre 2006 beauty pageant is scheduled to be held this Saturday at the Diamond Jubilee’s VIP hall.
The contest has been organized by Pinnacle Productions and Promotion.
According to the event’s coordinator, Mr Kimatare Temu, the winner of the much awaited contest will take home a Toyota Corolla AE110 worth 4m/-.
“The first and second runners-up will receive 1,000,000/- and 500.000/- respectively”, said Mr. Temu.
He added: “The third runners up will each be awarded with a cell phone worth 400,000/- with the rest getting 100,000/- each. There are more prizes to be won by the participants.”
The contest has been sponsored by Vodacom Tanzania, REDD’S Premium beer, Passion 4 Fashion, MGD Tronic’s City Phones, Clouds FM and Pinnacle Production and Promotion.
The event will be entertained by Bongo Flava hip hop group, TNG from Tanga, Malisa, Twanga Pepeta Chipolopolo, East Africa Melody and Sweet Sunday.
