Mwandishi aliyeshinda tuzo ya Nobel aahidi kuharibu kibali chake cha kuishi Marekani siku ya kuapishwa Donald Trump

Mwandishi maarufu duniani mwenye asili ya nchini Nigeria anayeishi Marekani, Wole Soyinka ameahidi kuiharibu kadi yake inayompa nafasi ya kuishi nchini humo (Green Card) siku ambayo Donald Trump ataapishwa.

Awali muandishi huyo wa kwanza kutoka Afrika kushinda tuzo ya Nobel aliahidi kuiharibu kadi yake hiyo endapo Trump atatangazwa kuwa Rais mpya wa Marekani.

“Why don’t we wait until Trump actually takes office? I am just going about my normal commitments, but definitely not getting into any more commitments. Let’s put it that way for now,” amesema Soyinka.

“Trump’s wall is already under construction. Walls are built in the mind, and Trump has erected walls, not only across the mental landscape of America, but across the global landscape.”
